2015 Oliver Tambo Memorial Lecture

About This Project

The 2015 Oliver Tambo Memorial Lecture was a collaboration between the Oliver and Adelaide Tambo Foundation, Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Airports Company South Africa, and City of Ekurhuleni. The event took the form of a panel discussion facilitated by Mavuso Msimang. The panel – Brigalia Bam, Frank Chikane and Mac Maharaj – discussed the topic: “Sisulu, Mandela & Tambo – Their Legacy for Democracy in South Africa”. The following day, Power FM held a live broadcast with the panel, as well as the Executive Mayor of Ekurhuleni, Mondli Gungubele, on David O’Sullivan’s show.
