Rachel Tambo received her BA in Dramatic Art Honours at Wits University where she majored in Performance and Choreography in 2000. She has had many roles on television as well as in theatre productions in South Africa. She is the patron for the South African Federation of Mental Health, and in 2013 launched her own jewellery collection in conjunction with The Sukumani Ladies, a development outreach programme with woman affected by HIV/AIDS.
