The impact of climate change is all around us and it is increasingly causing disaster and destruction, not only in nature but in cities and rural areas as well. This webinar explores the impact of climate change and ecological decline on poor communities. It will seek to answer a number of questions including: What are South Africa’s goals with regards to fighting climate change and the constitutionally enshrined right to a clean environment? What is socio-economic impact of climate change on communities that are more at risk of climate change effects? What are government and big business doing to assist vulnerable communities and devise solutions to curb the social and human impact of climate change?
